Great quality local fish used to recreate French classics. It works. Bistro Mer is no-nonsense, cosy and a little bit old fashioned, giving it its unique charm in The Hague, successfully transporting you to Paris for a moment. One of the things done right at this restaurant is that they keep certain classics on the menu for regulars and then serve changing seasonal dishes to offer the best of the sea at that time of the year.

The only remark perhaps, that one could make, is that that Bistro Mer might be slightly on the expensive side.. but then again.. great seafood is simply costly..
