Rating: 4/5
Cuisine: Dutch Wadden Islands seafood, vegetables and lamb
Price: 7 courses for 175 EUR
Before you stop reading, this restaurant is only rated 4 out of 5 because of the pricy menu. 175 EUR is simply expensive.. even for a Michelin starred restaurant. But, if the money doesn't bother you, then this should be 5/5. The food is utterly delicious and the trip to Texel (one of Netherlands Wadden Islands) is an adventure, or mini-vacation, on its own.
The Dutch Wadden are known for high quality lamb and seafood. Combine this with vegetables that Jef and Nadine grow in their own garden and you know that their 7 course tasting menu is a showcase of unbelievable local produce. Clean preparations that highlight the main ingredients are why you should come to Bij Jef.
