What would you expect of an stereotype Italian restaurant located outside of the touristy areas of Cannes? Good food? Yes. Homemade pasta and fresh ingredients? Yes. An extravagant, slightly loud host in controlled chaos? Yes. Fancily dressed-up guests..? Yes. Sometimes stereotypes aren't a bad thing and Da Laura doesn't disappoint in delivering on all of them. They even go the unexpected extra mile by having a magician on-site from time to time. Quick tip: if you want to keep a sane mind, avoid the guy. He is good, really good.

Regarding the food, all I can say is: In an ocean of amazing french food, a great, affordable Italian restaurant is very welcome! Plus, you need to visit Mougins at least once every time you are in the area. Scenic medieval hill towns dont get much cosier than this one. Your welcome.
